Frank Simpson, Sr., was an entrepreneur in the Calif. fruit industry, who traveled extensively up and down the west coast, while his family stayed in Los Angeles. Frank Simpson, Jr., attended the University of California, Berkeley at the beginning of the twentieth century and joined the Phi Sigma Delta fraternity.
